Imagine Today...
What wonderful thing will happen today? What fabulous insight will be gleaned from the events that take place?
Sometimes out of
the greatest sorrow Arises transformative joy Through the depths of despair Hope comes flickering through... In the most unlikely of ways. Profound inspiration flows Through all the muck Of fear and desperation Funny how that works But yet so true It isn't the simple reading of instructions that inspires No, one must actually do a thing to know a thing There is nothing quite like Experience Lessons are not learned on the sidelines. Through watching other's mishaps Or reading insightful books. They are learned on the battleground of life. They seem overwhelming when the boat is rocking Amid the stormy seas Yet there is a calm coming, rest assured. The sun will come out again. It will all make sense some day The ripples and the currents of the current situation Purpose and insight will be revealed Not now, but all in due time. For now, just simply hold up your hands Surrender to God's divine love Knowing the fullness of your being is protected In ways you can't fully see. Turn and face the storm Smile in the face of the showers And dance... Just dance. -Monica Tunnell Image credit: theater-meissen.de

"There will always be suffering. But we must not suffer over the suffering." We can still astonish the gods in humanity and be the stuff of future legends, if we but dare to be real, and have the courage to see That this is the time to dream The best dream of them all. ~Ben Okri As the bird soars high In the free holding of the wind, Clear of the certainty of ground, Opening the imagination of wings Into the grace of emptiness To fulfill new voyagings, May your life awaken To the call of its freedom |
